Citrus Glazed Turnips

Ingredients
1 bunch
Small or baby turnips (cut into bite sized pieces)
1 1/2 tablespoons
Avocado oil
2 tablespoons
Ghee
1/3 cup
Orange juice
1 1/2 tablespoons
Lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon
Crushed red pepper flakes
Salt to taste
Step by Step Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400. Toss the turnip pieces in the avocado oil until coated.
- Spread the pieces out in a single even layer on a baking sheet and roast for 20 minutes.
- While the turnips cook, prepare the glaze:
- Combine the ghee, orange juice, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Stir constantly until the mixture has reduced by half. Stir in the red pepper flakes and salt to taste.
- Toss the roasted turnip pieces with the glaze, then serve.
